Together in Life and Death. Sangita, Founder of Anjore, & Inder (as Sangita would lovingly address him), Ex-Indian Army & Ex-Air-India, left us within moments of each other on the 3rd of June 2021. "Shed no tears, for I need them not. All I need is your smile. If you feel sad, do think of me. For that's what I'll like. When you live in the hearts of those you love.Remember then, you never die"* This memorial celebrates two wonderful souls, their spirit & the lives they touched. मासी यानि माँ जैसि We call ourselves Pushpa’s girls Pushpa’s essence and fragrance has not faded nor dimmed , It blossomed in you in your generous ways. Kindness and compassion to all equally , You tended and extended yourself to give generously and pamper all your people . A unique and special way you had to always show you care. You followed your gut with a keen intuition , To do and speak up for what’s right . Wearing your heart on your sleeve .. hurting and loving still, ‘cos that’s all you ever held true . Your baby Anjore is a grand testimony to your creative genius . Capturing precious moments and feelings as you lovingly handcrafted and embellished the stars in the eyes of brides on their trousseaus , and brought out the confidence and essence of every client who walked out with a unique Anjore creation. You didn’t just have clients , ‘cos each one became a friend .. they came to you for chai and gup shup in the oasis you created. A spiritual pact you made with Inder ,to live and leave together .... Divine design we must accept and seek silver linings as we heal . The measure of love they say is to love without measure ... your lessons of love and life shall through us . Shona

From the days at Anand Bhavan , when love was the focus, to the bylanes of Versova & Yari road where relationships blossomed and finally the 3rd day of June 2021 where LOVE proved stronger than everything else. Masi & Inder have set the example, an example which makes us realise that when there is LOVE the almighty is always with you.
