Sandi Browne

Sandi was a solid colleague, and I’m fortunate to have had an opportunity to work with her. Especially most recently seeing her passion in action leading parts of the Women in Cyber initiative. She jumped into this role whole heartedly making such a significant impact and truly demonstrating her commitment to empowering women and girls. My deepest sympathies to the family. May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this challenging time. Sending you prayers and love during this difficult time.

Sandi was a thorough professional and an expert on Learning and Development in my books. I have had the pleasure of working with her on a few occasions and benefited from her Global perspective and practical approach to adult learning. She has made a mark in the minds of so many of us, and she will live through those memories. My heartfelt condolences to the family and may her soul rest in peace.

Sandi was one of the first people I met from the GRA team and ever since, was my go-to person. She was amazing to work and collaborate with from a professional perspective, and she was also the kind of person who made you feel special and when you were talking to her, like you were the only person in the world. She always had a smile and a laugh ready and was someone you looked forward to talking to. This is such a big loss for the firm, but this loss is only tiny compared to that of her family and loved ones. We are all lucky to have known her and it really is hard to reconcile that she is gone.

Sandi was a really special soul. She was creative, intelligent, well-spoken, warm, kind, wise, empathetic, encouraging, appreciative,..the list can go on and on. She never felt shy of wearing her heart on her sleeves and you always got only one authentic version of her always..there were no masks and no pretenses, ever. You could speak to her in difficult times and come out feeling heard and comforted. She took a genuine effort to understand who people truly were and where they were coming from. She would take great pride in her daughter and no conversation would go by without a mention of Soph and what she was up to. I will always remember her fondly and would like to express my deepest condolences to Soph, Ron, Bev and all her loved ones. Rest well Sandi..we love you and will miss you!

Sandi has been my boss, colleague, coach, and friend for 13 years, and I am so thankful for the time that we had together. She was a guide and mentor through the difficult times, she gave me opportunities that would allow me to shine, but was never afraid to kick my butt when I needed it. She was also a cheerleader who had nothing but pride and faith in me, even when I didn't have pride and faith in myself. Simply put, she was whatever you needed her to be, whenever you needed it. Sandi was my ‘pioneer pal’, who had to contend with my more cynical outlook. Always thinking at a million miles an hour, reaching beyond the stars with her ideas, vision, and passion. We would brainstorm ideas and before I had time to write anything down Sandi would've evolved one idea into five brand new ideas, all incredibly strategic and connected to other parts of our business. I loved how open she was about making those links, as she wanted to make sure that you were part of the journey, regardless of your seniority or knowledge of the topic. Sandi was a true collaborator. Sandi was also incredibly passionate about everything she loved. Be that her daughter Sophia, her wellbeing and coaching business, or in making a difference in the lives of everyone she met, she always had time for you, and let you know it. Whilst I will forever miss her guidance and advice, because it was genuine and personal, I will also miss the personal connection that I had, where we would just chat about anything and everything for however long we could get away with! And what I have loved as I read through everyone else’s memories is that we all had that personal connection with her. My thoughts and love at this time are with her family, friends and loved ones.

For the many years I have known Sandi, she has always been a joyful, caring and compassion person to be around. With a ready smile, a kind word, and a treasure trove of life-enhancing tips and advice, Sandi is a beacon of light that will be sorely missed. My sincerest condolences to Sandi’s family and friends.

Sandi was and will forever remain a bright light in my 25+ years at Deloitte. She brought warmth, authenticity, consideration, passion and perspective to every interaction we had from our first meeting years ago to our last conversation which I wish I had known to have been just that. She was quick to compliment, fast to befriend, willing to wait for the worthwhile, and both intellectually and emotionally engaging - traits phenomenal in a trusted colleague and confidante which is what I know her have been for many, myself included. My heart goes out to her treasured Sophia, family and friends.

An absolutely beautiful soul! Humbled and honoured to have met Sandi. We developed a great friendship and camaraderie. Words will not do just justice to this beautiful soul and the world is much poorer without her. A truly caring, compassionate, humble, loving and authentic down to earth person.
