We miss you so much Daddy. I could not have asked for a better father and role model in this lifetime.

May the lord grant his family the fortitude to handle this loss and as I remember him as one of those who shaped me under the school of management (swansea). Rest in peace sir!

I’m terribly sorry to hear of Sam’s sudden passing. A great guy all round, always exuding positive energy. He will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family he left behind.

I only met Sam very recently, he was very warm, enthusiastic and supportive. I am shocked and extremely saddened to hear of his passing. Sending my deepest sympathy to his family.

I’m still in disbelief at this shocking news. Samuel you made such an impact on my transition to Swansea uni. Your love for life, passion for teaching, commitment to students, your genuine kindness…I could go on and on. That smile, that laugh, those wonderful words of encouragement. I am so saddened by the news of Samuel’s passing, I only had the privilege of having a few encounters with Samuel and when he was my allocated to be my mentor for my dissertation for my masters, I was extremely pleased. He has been a huge support to myself academically and personally and one of the kindest souls I have ever come across, a true gentleman who’s compassion spread throughout further than any other person I knew. I’m sure his family know how respected he was by others. My deepest condolences go out to his family and those closest to him. Rest in peace Samuel. Thanks again for all your support.

I was very shocked and saddened to hear the tragic news of Sam's passing. Sam had such passion for his role as an educator and researcher. He was a constantly warm and smiling presence in the corridors of SoM and put so much energy and enthusiasm into supporting his students, his colleagues and our overseas partners. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts go out to his family and friends at this most difficult time.
