Ron Edgar

Just heard of Ron’s passing. A gentle, wonderful man who always went out of his way to do his very best and make everyone feel included and respected. The world is poorer for his loss. Heartfelt condolences to his family. His loving nature will live on in our hearts.

Sorry to hear about Ron's passing. My deepest condolences to Mary and family. Ron was my mentor, colleague and friend. I worked with him on quite a few heritage projects over the years. Very sad and he will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.

Ron was one of a kind, thoughtful, highly skilled, a quiet persuader with a charming sense of humour. His passing is a great loss to Sydney architecture, especially in his championship of all things heritage as an Advisor and on various Panels. Vale Ron + condolences to his family.

I first met Ron in 1981 as students at NSW Insitute of Technology. I was a young student straight out of school and Ron being "mature age" I was touched by his generosity, patience and humour which was a great comfort as I worked my way through the six years of that course. We stayed in touch over the years and I was always impressed by his good humour and wise counsel. I was deeply saddended to hear of his illness a year ago and we shared some of our experiences in that journey, My condolences to his family.
