Richard was more than a mentor, friend, and coach—he was one of the most caring and supportive people in my son’s tennis journey. His loss is deeply felt. I’ll miss his calls, always reaching out, sometimes just to ask me something small so we could catch up. He was always there to listen, share advice, and offer guidance that has shaped my son into the player he is today. Mr. Russell, I’m sorry we never got the chance to play that pickleball match, but I promise to win one for you. You’ll always be remembered and cherished in our hearts.
