For 31 years, Richard was our leader, friend and mentor for everyone at Kings Active Foundation and Kings Camps, impacting millions of children, families and young people. His leadership, energy and vision created the organisation, both in the UK and internationally.

I am so sorry to hear such sad news. Richard was such a lovely, warm and welcoming individual who has inspired so many people. Richard and his team gave me the confidence and opportunity to become Regional Manager, which has helped to shape the person who I am today. The first time I attended Head Office I was really nervous to meet 'the big boss', but it was amazing how quickly Richard and his team made both myself and others feel part of the 'King's Camps family'. Thankfully Richards pain is now over, but for his family and friends there's adjustment to 'a new normal' which requires strength - which I'm sure they'll have learned plenty of from Richard. Sending so much love to his friends and family.
