Richard Harding

Richard really started the beginning of my journey with FCA, starting training on a really bad joke to make the training memorable. Richard really was there to help, even after training, his presence was always there, and it will be missed.

Richard had a unique charm and charisma to make you feel as if you had known him for many years, even when you had only just met him. He always had an interesting story to tell and years of wisdom to impart upon the many fledglings he trained within the Supervision Hub. The last time I spoke to him, I informed him I had just moved near the Arsenal Football Stadium and he was already cheekily telling me of how to make money renting out my parking space to football fanatics! Despite being just one individual, he had the presence and soul of many and his loss will be keenly felt within our Sup Hub family. Our cascades will not be the same without his valuable input and clever jokes. My sincerest condolences to his family at this sad time.

Richard was my trainer when I started my journey at the FCA, and I’m very grateful to have had the pleasure of being trained by him. His knowledge, patience and killer jokes and punch lines made my days of training a breeze! Loved hearing his crazy cab /life stories, always had something interest to say- He knew exactly how to light up a room! Richard was a Father like figure to the whole Supervision Hub, and his departure has been a heavy loss for us, but Heaven gained a true legend! Richard always had time for his friends and colleagues, and never hesitated to give a helping hand…Was truly a reliable colleague and friend who will be immensely missed. He also spoke so fondly of his wife, kids and grandchildren, you could see and hear the love he had for his family and also his friends .You would always feel better after having a chat with Richard, never cease to make me smile. Thanks for everything Richard, it was a pleasure meeting you in this life and hope to see you in the next :) PS- Save a joke or two for when the rest of us arrive! Richard was kind, generous & thoughtful, enjoyed sharing his knowledge and humour. My condolences are with his family and friends at this very sad time and hope our messages can bring some light in the days ahead.

Richard my fellow trainer, colleague and friend for the past 6.5 years how you will be missed. Your kindness and generosity was always shown in abundance to those who needed your support. You always had a smile followed by a corny dad joke which often had you laughing whilst we rolled our eyes. The pride in your life was your family as this was evident when you spoke about them or had them say hello to me whilst we were in meetings. This short condolence feels so inadequate as these few words can never truly show how we all feel about you, we will talk of you often. Goodbye dear friend x

We started about the same time in the contact centre, so taught me everything I know. He was always the first to help out, regardless of whether he knew the answer. He had so many tales from his taxi adventures, never failed to make me smile. Heaven's getting a cracking cabby. See you on the other side, fella

Dear Richard, I hope you were there when Inam and I raised a glass in your honour and toasted your generosity of spirit, to understand the deep respect we had for you. I hope you were there when we all took care of each other on the saddest day in the Hub, to understand how deeply you will be missed. I hope you were there, when we took a moment to clap in your honour, to understand how many people you have helped in their career. I hope you are there somewhere, watching over us all and willing us on. Rest in peace, Sally x

Richard was big personality energy. His passion for helping others was evident in his approach to this role. His knowledge was vast and he would use his array of life and career experiences to simplify and really bring his sessions to life. He was also a colleague with whom I rolled my eyes often as his humour could be a hit or miss... you knew when Richard was there as he wasn't shy to speak out and speak up. Condolences to this family, of whom he often spoke fondly.
