Richard was a friend, husband, dad, step-dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. Regardless of the title, he was one of a kind. An animal-lover at heart, a professional magician, talented musician on multiple instruments, competent in five languages, a handyman, a veteran, a great cook, and an awesome travel tour guide. A true "Jack-of-all-trades." Most of all he was kind and sincere. Richard passed peacefully at home in Mexico. He will be missed by his family and many friends, cats and dogs.

I am sorry to read of Richards passing a year ago. I have tried to contact over the years but wasn't successful. Richard took us under his wing on our first trip to Mexico. Took us shopping showed us the area and made us really enjoy the area he was so happy to show us his pink house that was still being built. He was managing the 2 properties for me Woodward when we last saw him. He was a wonderful man and a great advocate for bucerias and Mexico, I'm sorry we never met Denise, I hope you are doing well and keeping safe through this nasty covid

I saw Richard a few times when our family had get togethers, so I didn't get to know him very well. He was in Mexico much of the time. I heard great stories from cousins about what a wonderful tour guide he was. I did get to visit with him at my aunt Ina's celebration of life in 2017, and I enjoyed that very much. Auntie Dennie, I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Richard was curious, intelligent, funny and kind, with a unique take and humor about our big crazy family. I will miss him. Karen, Amy, Wendy, Lance and families, I am very sorry for the loss of your Dad/Step-Dad. His adventures, travels and tales thereof, will continue to be told and remembered amongst us. Dear Denise and family, David and I were very sad to hear about Richard. I have so many wonderful memories of my travels with all of you and am so happy to have the DVDs that will keep those.days in my mind. David and Richard spend many passing times talking about Classic VWs and music. As, others have mentioned he was one of a kind and we are happy we were able to spend time with him.
