We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Reginald Senior Schaumans. A great tragedy and a great loss to our JCI organization, but first and foremost for his family and friends. His contribution and selfless leadership of the organization will remain engraved in our memories and the history of this organization for forever. Worldwide many young entrepreneurs and active citizens were inspired by his trainings and his leading by example that he showed in the various leadership roles he took up within our organisation. He was always there to give support and advice to everyone in his local chapter Brussel where he was still active as a senator but also on the regional, Belgian and worldwide level. Reginald was also an example on a professional level. Through his worldwide coaching and trainings he changed the lives of many of his coachees by changing the culture within the companies they work for. Our warmest thoughts go to all of his loved ones, especially his partner Conny, and their children and grandchildren. We hope they get some comfort knowing that Reginald will always hold a special place in the hearts and thoughts of people all over the world.

Very sad to hear the passing of Reginald Schaumans. He was a great World JCI President and will be missed by many. Prayers go out to his family. We have fond memories of his visit to Seattle, Washington, USA.

President Reginald Schaumans visited Pakistan when I was NOM president and my wife Shanaz was LOM president of my parent chapter Central Jaycees. We have very fond memories of his visit and a photograph of him dressed up as a traditional bridegroom which was published in the largest circulated English language newspaper the Daily Dawn. His encouraged to me to contest as Vice President of JCI which I did at the Helsenki congress and was assigned Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia. May he rest in peace. Reginald was in Zottegem niet alleen een regelmatige bezoeker maar tevens een zeer gewaardeerde gast . Dat was ook de reden waarom een aantal leden zijn kandidatuur als wereldvoorzitter actief op het verkiezingscongres hebben gesteund... Apprenant avec peine le décès de Reginald qui fut en 1991 un digne représentant de la Belgique en sa qualité de Président JCI, je souhaite présenter, en mon nom et en celui de mon épouse Hélène, à sa famille, ses proches et à nos amis de la Jeune Chambre Economique de Belgique, mes très sincères condoléances. I was shocked and saddened to hear of the untimely passing of my dear friend 1991 JCI President Reginald Schaumans. I wish to offer my sincerest condolences to his wife Conny and to all the many loving members of his family and his close friends, who are now enduring the pain of his loss. I consider it to be an honor and a privilege to have been able to enjoy the friendship of 1991 JCI President Reginald Schaumans for so many years. Unquestionably, Reginald Schaumans was one of the most prominent of all the Presidents of JCI and, as JCI President, he made a great contribution to the JCI movement as a whole. Reginald, you will be sorely missed. I will especially be thinking of you this November at the JCI World Congress in Amsterdam, where your absence will be very much noticed. Thank you for leaving me and many others, with many fond memories of the time we spent together building the JC movement. May your soul rest in Peace.
