Rahul Mishra

Rahul was a lovely and great student. His body language in class was perfect: attentive, smiling (as on the picture), asking a question from time to time, but present! I also saw him one evening late at the Rosewood Hotel: he told me that he had just finished working on his paper, and seemed very pleased! Told him to go to bed, that it was late and that we all need rest (i was reflecting that this was also true for me ...). My thoughts go to Menka and children: your husband was delightful - and i can only attest that i hope that Vivaan and Vanya will follow in his tracks, inspired by his example! That life is unfair, that we are dealt cards, and that many we do not deserve. That this is most unfair, that the best was yet to come, and that we are all with you in these. This, of course, applies to Rahul's fellow classmates as well, who surely miss him enormously as well! We can only continue, inspired by Rahul, going forward by what he would like us to do. That the more we do, the more he lives in us and around us, the more we continue to make him live, here on this earth. And that this is what he likes and what he looks for, from above: Rahul is looking at us, in all his perfection, in the skies -and that if we look up, we might see a glimpse of him! But that on earth, it is for us to keep him alive! And on that front, when I look at this beautiful picture, he is there, in front of me, perfect, and that will continue to inspire me. Hope it gives strength to his wife and children, to his fellow students. Let us be carried by Rahul - so that he does not fade away, but remains in each of us he touched and continue to touch. I will always cherish the after class debriefs and reflections with Rahul. Having a beer him while he mostly listened to me and then he would quietly and eloquently summarise what I was trying to express. Always a warm, calm, and an inviting smile. Willing to listen and confidently give his opinion and advice. Thank you for those memories friend.

Rahul, nothing can explain why you had to go so fast, nothing can bring you back, but you are still with us somehow. I am sure you enjoyed every second of your life. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Nothing can prepare us for the loss of a dear loved one. May the love of family, the support of friends, and the many fond memories that you shared over the years bring warmth to your heart. We met in the first INSEAD module and worked together on UDJ. Rahul was quiet but extremely smart, friendly, open and knowledgeable. I was lucky to connect to him every now and then during the following modules. I was devastated to hear this very sad news. My thoughts are with his family he loved so much. Please accept my sincerest condolences. May you always remember him as the loving husband and proud father he was. He will be with you forever.

My heartfelt condolences to Rahul's family! It was a pleasure to have Rahul in my class, and it pains me to see him leave us so early. May he rest in peace.
