Prosper (Aryeh) Malka

What a wonderful man Prosper was. I was fortunate and privileged to know him in his later years seeing him in Shul most weeks. He was so warm, kind and generous of spirit. He always acted with great humility and at the same time took action when action was needed personifying Chazal's dictum "Eipho ein Ish, hishtadel lihyot Ish". Everyone had a good word to say about him. I will never forget his kindness to me and my sons and the wonderful smile he greeted us with every time we saw him. May he rest in peace and be bound in the bonds of eternal life.

Our sincere condolences to the entire Malka family on the loss of someone very special to me and our entire community, our dear Prosper. I will forever remember looking down at Porat Yosef and seeing him gather people under his Talit during Birkat Ha Kohanim and blessing them too. Often I was also privileged to receive his warm blessings, even with the most recent one being at our special Chanukah Party. Every time he smiled he would light up the room, Heaven has certainly gained an angel. May his soul rest in eternal peace and may you find the strength to carry on during these difficult times and be spared from any further pain or sorrow.

So sorry I can't join you tonight, I have a chavruta, wishing the Malka family chayim aruchim. Uncle Prosper's neshama should have an aliya in Shamayim.

My most sincere condolences to the family. My wife and I only got few minutes of pure pleasure of discussion with this incredible gentleman. Prosper was such a wonderful human being, so warm so loving and so generous with his expansive brachas and time. I had B"H such a strong soul connection with him, and I will never forget him all my days for all his special qualities. His smile, his jokes and his incredible warmth was for all to see Many times on Shabbat he covered my head (also Momis and Emiles) during Brachat Cohanim - he would give full concentration with his hand and with all his heart add some extra special words after the duchaning. It was always a highlight of the day. It is no wonder and an amazing twist of fate that he was related apparently to the Rabbi the family Rabbi in Sudan (Rabbi Malka), who blessed my family for many years and looked after them. It was a shock when this revelation came out which was only revealed when I had already known Prosper for quite some time. Hashem certainly has his ways! I will miss you Prosper. you were an angel here on earth and no doubt you will iy"H light up Shamayim Gd bless you my friend - I will miss you very much Sincere condolences to all the family
