Piyo was a son, brother and friend. He loved his family, cherished his friends and was devoted to God. He was usually the most observant in a room, yet the least judgmental, often carrying a smile so big and contagious. He had big dreams as a boy, dreams to join the military and serve his country - he achieved them! Piyo was a gallant soldier, a dedicated member of the Nigerian Airforce who gave his all to the service until his last breath. He was loved by all and relied on by so many. He imprinted in the hearts of the young and old. His kind and loving memories will forever remain in our hearts.

Remembering your message on my Birthday which was just a week before the news of your death and how you kept checking on alot of us... If life is like this, then why do we live in the first place but your life a life a young man who has lived, and achieved your dream. When I was told, the only thing I could say was, 'JESUS' 'GOD' as tears and anger and... I remember the discussion we had when you didn't get into NDA at first... You still remained focused to the dream you've had since our JSS1... Knowing the transformation in your life is a complete assurance of God truly lives... Having memories of you from JSS1, JSS2, 3, SS1... All I can remember is how you always had everyone at heart. Live on bro... Till we meet again.

Piyo’s life is testament of God’s ability to transform a person’s life. And this gives me hope. Because your transformation, I didn’t only hear from others, I saw it with my own eyes. It is so terrifying imagining your last moments on earth. But I’m comforted knowing it paved the way for your translation into a better and eternal reality. Your death rocked our world to its very foundations. But what it also did was show all of us that we are all we’ve got in this world. The Unassailable family is truly United.
