Phoebe was a loving mother to her children (Princelene, Savio, Princeton and Neil) and a devoted wife to her husband (late) Peter D'Souza. She had strong faith in God, praying at home and in Church, always connected to God. She was particularly devoted to St Anthony and to St John Bosco. She passed on her faith to her children, one of whom is now a Salesian priest (Fr Savio - Parish Priest at St Dominic Savio Church, Wadala east, Mumbai). She worked for 23 years at Don Bosco High School, Borivli (W), Mumbai and was an active member of the Salesian Cooperators (Don Bosco Borivli unit). Phoebe was a very sociable person, who lived life with zest. She had the gift of speaking to each person according to his/her needs. She was equally at home among her friends, neighbours, colleagues, priests, religious brothers and sisters, children and senior citizens. She was very hospitable, and loved to share her culinary skills. She was generous, kind and helpful, in so many ways, towards persons and families, always being discrete. She was much loved and appreciated. We will miss you, Phoebe. Rest in God's peace.
