Memorial

Peter Wireko

xx xx, xxxx - xx xx, xxxx

Sir Kt. Bro. Peter Wireko was a devout Catholic, husband and father. He was the first of seven children and spent most of his life managing Korkdam Hotel in New Achimota Accra-Ghana. He was a kind-hearted and gentle soul who took on the responsibility of many and was loved by all. He was a true representation of the Marshallan motto: Unity, Charity, Fraternity and Service which he dedicated his life to uphold and was evident in his everyday life.

Condoleances

Cynthia Prah

I called him "Boss" because he was my boss. I worked closely with him for 4yrs as the Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council of the Holy Spirit Cathedral when he was the Chair of the Council from 2015-2018. Never did he do anything to spark my intolerable 'twin', especially when I try to comport myself when some members of the PPC spoke unending. The gentleman he was, Mr. Wireko always made time for all, and gave time to any speaker while he kept calm. He was a good man. I still remember how his face lit up with smile when we visited him just a week before his painful demise. I still can see him waving his final bye as we drove away

Fr. Winfred Charles Lwanga Jr

Mr Wireko, was a beautiful soul. Very calm and soft spoken, a saintly man who greatly inspired me as a young seminarian at the HSCP. I left a great impression on me and I’ll forever cherish him. May he rest in the Lord whom he loved and served so well. Amen. My condolences to the wife and kids who mourn the loss of a great husband and father. May you find consolation in the fact that he is resting with his master whom he served. May God grant you strength to go through this phase of life. Amen

This is going to be a trying time in your lives, it will change dynamics but I am glad you have each other. We know that grief comes in waves, and we intend to be with you all throughout this difficult journey. Losing someone close to us, like a father, they continue to live on through us and give us unbelievable strength. They’re so connected to us that they become a part of us. Don't lose hope and remember Psalm 121, the bible verse that has kept our family going. We love you all!
