Hi Liz Deepest condolences to you and all the family Peter... a unique and most decent person xxx

We will remember Peter mainly as our scout leader. As we’ve got older we’ve come to realise how much of a commitment this was and how selfless and kind he was to volunteer his time over such a long period for the benefit of others. He has since always been a kind, familiar face and will be a big loss to the local community. Condolences to the family and rest in peace. Mark, Neil & Fiona.

Peter you worked so hard and achieved so much, sadly you were taken from your family far too soon. So sad, so proud, we will love you always. Rest in peace little brother.

Peter you have touched the hearts of everyone who knew you. You were so good, kind and thoughtful. Thank you for all you did. We will all miss you.

Dear Liz, Mark and David. We were so sad to hear that Peter has passed away. Such a gentle and lovely man. I will have lots of memories to make me smile. He always had a twinkle in his eye as he told a tale ( of which there were many!) What a great team you made Liz. He is sadly missed.Lots of love to all the family.

We were saddened to learn of Peter's passing. We both have fond memories of Peter stretching back more years than we care to mention to when our eldest son started school in the same class as Mark. Fond memories of school / PTA events, Scouting, Church social events and, of course, of worshipping together at Christ's Church Harwood. All those parties too! May Peter Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory!

So very sorry for your loss Liz, Mark & David. Peter was such a lovely man to know- 20 Years of teaching with him & knowing he was looking after my son, Phil, all through Cubs & Scouts, which he loved. All situations were a joy - a great loss for you all, far too soon.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it here... Peter was a legend. He will be missed by so many. He was such a lovely man. I will always remember fun times in the White Horse, giving me (much needed) love life advice(!) and very kindly driving me to school each day of my teaching practice, as a trainee teacher. Such kindness, such fun, such warmth will never be forgotten. All my love and thoughts to all the family. Vicki and family xxx
