Peter Landers

So sad. I worked with Peter in Halifax Ireland. He was always a gent and a mentor. I look back on that time fondly and often reflected on some me of the wise words of advice Peter shared with me personally.

I knew Peter for just over 4 years following him joining the MotoNovo business in 2016. I was lucky another to share a bank of desks with Peter before our office move so got to know him reasonably well over this period. He had an incredible career and I'd regularly seek opinion and guidance from him, however the favourite memories are from our regular football related banter (Cardiff and Swansea). My condolences to Peter's family, he was a true gent and will be sorely missed.

Its always difficult to find the right words to show and offer comfort in times of great loss, in a world where standing side by side and offering a comforting hug says so much and while I cant be there to stand side by side, my thoughts are with you. I am proud to have known and worked with Peter in Capital Bank and once again at MotoNovo. Peter, your wit, wisdom, enthusiasm & care of others will be greatly missed by so so many who was fortunate enough to have known you.

I was fortunate enough to work with Peter for the last four years at MotoNovo. He was a true gentleman and the font of all knowledge, always willing to share his wealth of knowledge and experience and always there to offer help, support and guidance with a smile and a laugh along the way. His kind and supportive nature was always balanced with a genuine interest and passion to do what was right and support individuals achieve their aspirations. I will miss Peter hugely and all my thoughts are with Peter's family and friends. I wish them every strength at this difficult time.

I am incredibly sad to hear that Peter has died. It was a pleasure knowing and working with Peter. He was a consummate professional. My thoughts and prays are with his family and friends who are grieving during this difficult time.

Haven't seen Peter for many years but spent quite a bit of time in his company In the 80s .I will remember him for his quick wit.thoughts with his friends and family at this time

To put into words what Peter meant to me is something I could never quite do justice to. We have been friends for 43 years and I can't honestly remember a day of not having a thought, joke or conversation that Peter's name didn't come into. Peter was a huge character, very clever, quick witted and a sense of humour second to none. There have been so many occasions where we had days or nights out, where we simply talked, laughed and simply put the world to rights. We had such fun, I could go on and on and however much it sounds like a cliché, that was mine and Landers relationship. This is how I remember him, as Landers, my best mate, full of fun, jokes and laughter (wicked sense of humour). The gap he has left is huge and the lights shines not so brightly since he has left us. It has only been a short while but my phone has gone quiet and the jokes have been very few and far between. Peter always was and always will be my best mate, someone I admire, through his enormous strength of character, kindness, resilience and honesty. His work achievements were outstanding, however, Peter being Peter played all this down as being nothing out of the ordinary. His love for his family was immense and he was so proud of his boys and sister Sue. I feel very fortunate to call Peter my friend and to have so very many treasured memories to recall. Gone but never ever forgotten, my mate Landers.

Such sad news to hear, my thoughts are with all of Peter's family and friends. On the handful of times I met him he was supportive, encouraging and forthcoming with feedback to aid other people's development; I've since learnt that this was his natural style as he always wanted other people to develop and succeed. A true gent who will be sorely missed.
