Pastor Dre (as he was fondly called) was more than a pastor; he was a true shepherd. He loved without reservation, teaching the undiluted Word of God and raising many in the way of truth. Above all, he lived what he preached, embodying his message. “God has a plan,” he often reminded us. Indeed, God’s plans for him were fulfilled, right to the end.

Pastor Dre, I can boldly say that God truly sent you to that scrawny 100-level boy who only came for the fellowship because of the freshers’ welcome rice. Through you, God transformed my life from a kid drifting without a plan into someone with direction and purpose.
