Pastor Joel Adeogo Oluwayomi was firm believer in God and he reflected this in his actions. He was also a loving father, grandfather and friend to many. He sacrificed his time and resources to plant churches across Nigeria while in Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) and Foursquare churches. All this while working voluntarily from his youth. He also made a positive impact in the lives of members of Kings Castle Church and MFM Sunderland where he always supported individuals with prayers and wise counsel. He instilled discipline in his children and grand children, teaching them to be independent and hardworking. He always maintained a principle of working for, with and in God. His delight was in having a heavenly reward where others gained salvation and healing. Although he was a hardworking man, involved in various creative projects in the printing sector within the Western part of Nigeria, he devoted more of his daily life to serving God voluntarily. He is a testament to all those he supported in his spiritual work with God. He was instrumental to the success of many young people and meeting the needs of families spiritually and maritally.

Pastor Joel was a man of faith and despite facing his own challenges, he always encouraged, blessed and prayed for us. Daddy you have indeed touched our lives and the miracles we prayed for, are here. You will be greatly missed. We pray that the Lord will comfort and strengthen your wife, children and grandchildren at this very difficult time

Pastor Joel was very dear to us and we’re honoured to have known him in the later part of his life. He knew what he stood for and never failed to pray or bless us anytime we saw each other. He is going to be greatly missed but we know that he is resting in the Lord’s bosom. Sis Tobi and Brother Efanga, may God keep on consoling you both and the rest of the family that he has left behind. As you carry on his great legacy, know that he’ll be looking down on you all with love and gratitude for a life well spent. Well done for all you did for him particularly towards the end and know that despite what we think or feel, everything went on according to God’s plan. Please take solace in this and know that God will take care of you all in this very difficult time.
