Its with disbelieve to learn this sad news. The WASH family has lost a great team member and wonderful individual and i really enjoyed your spirit. Rest in peace.

Its difficult to write this, never expected that Pankaj will be gone so soon. I remember our days together in Jaipur, particularly the field trips we had together. You were a fine gentleman Pankaj and the world is a less beautiful place because of your absence. My sincere sympathy to Shipra and Doodle

Dear Pankaj, the news of your passing away came as a shock. It is difficult to put into words the loss I feel, having had the privilege of knowing and working with you. You were not only a dedicated professional but also a kind and supportive presence in the team. Your contribution will always be remembered and warmth greatly missed.

You were more than just a colleague—you were a source of support and reassurance. From my very first days at UNICEF, you made me feel welcomed and comfortable in the system. Your support for the Lucknow office in 2014 was invaluable. The last time I met you was in New York, and as I write this, I find myself reminiscing about those moments. Losing you so soon is not just a profound personal loss for your family but also for me—as a friend who was always respectful, supportive, and a strong professional. You will be deeply missed. The letter I missed out writing ☹ Dear Pankaj, You are incredible as a person!! In this short span of your time in this world… you have made such a huge difference…. Not only in the programme front… but each person who happened to cross your path. Your focus, your determination and your positivity are something which attracted everybody to you. We talk so much of CRITAS now a days .. but I know you from last 18 years… and you have been a walking and talking example of CRITAS…And in your worst of times.. you never lost it! I know of times when you were a strong and vocal staff association member and staff welfare has always been close to your heart.

It is truly sad to hear about Pankaj's passing! He was a person who was always approachable, smiling and thorough in his work. He never lost his positive spirit and hope despite the pain and suffering. He will be deeply missed in UNICEF. May God grant his soul eternal rest. Wishing his loved ones strength and courage to bear this huge loss.
