I met him first when he played for Pinley RFC a very long time ago when I first joined the club after playing for Stoke OB RFU He was a gentleman and a good laugh. We met up again a few years later when we drank at the New Inn bulls head lane still the same old PJ. He left us to live on his boat. Haven't seen him since but I bet he kept the boating community entertained like he did with us RIP old friend

Loved this lad. Always honest , with humour from left field. He said what he thought and cut his own path. I feel privileged to have known him

So very sad to hear that my good friend Jinx had passed away. It’s been many, many years since we last hung out together. I’ll always have great memories of our early motorcycling days and our trip to Daytona USA in 1979. I remember us going to lots of great concerts, one that's really memorable was Led Zepplin at Knebworth, again in 1979..... man, that was an awesome weekend! And it's going to be hard to forget all those crazy evenings we spent partying in your Caravan and you introducing us to lots of new music.... such great times! I and so many others were lucky to have had you as a close friend, you’ll be missed by all, especially your family. R.I.P. Jinx.
