You were the big boy at school who used to excel at senior sporting events, then you became the opponent who crushed me in badminton and outran me in sprints. A winner throughout...Wishing I knew you better as a person then... Then we lost touch, and I found you as a familiar face on TV, displaying a completely different side, which I never knew existed. Wishing we were closer then, to celebrate our successes together... Then I found you, as the most enthusiastic participant in friends' get togethers, the one who would take out time to come and be 'one of the guys' anytime. I saw your fun side, and the pleasure you got from being with the group. Glad that I could share some beautiful moments with you then... One of the last communications we had was when you said you would actively engage in bringing the whole batch together, when we talked about working towards it. I am sad that we couldn't spend more time on it together... Your departure shook me deeper than I ever thought, and then I realised you will be a part of my memories forever. Good bye, dear friend. It was an absolute pleasure knowing you.
