Oriana Pepper

To oriana the girl with the office in the clouds, Although it has been some time me oriana and her brother all attended the same primary and middle school and my thoughts have often drifted and wondered how they all got on. Oriana was an amazing girl her kindness even at a young age knew no bounds and I will forever regret never plucking up the courage to tell her just how much that kindness meant to me I will always remember it and take with me through life you are and always will be a guiding light.

I have no connection with Oriana, I read about her in a BBC article. I had a sailing yacht with the same name (Oriana) so I know the meaning. The yacht brought my family of three sons great pleasure for many years, sailing in the beautiful Aegean sea. I am also a pilot. I was touched by the tragic randomness of this young woman's demise. I wish her family and friends strength to cope with their untimely loss.

Both my husband and I had the pleasure of working and knowing Oriana’s parents over several years, with limited social contact but met Oriana on a couple of occasions. A bright, intelligent young child at the time who was clearly determined to pursue her ambitions. “Oriana may your wings continue to grow and you fly higher” Shine bright! I was so saddened and shocked to hear the news about Oriana. My heartfelt condolences are with her family and friends. Oriana was a great cadet with a big heart - when I was working in Phoenix for a short time at the start of last with year Oriana and Callum came to my office just to say hello and it made my day. In the few times I met her, you could tell how she was not only committed to pursuing her dream to become a pilot but also how well liked, kind, thoughtful girl who will be greatly missed.
