Hunmn! Life is so ephemeral, we come, we do our bits and depart when our time is up, the gentleman was in my office two weeks ago, his death was a rude shock to me, all of us in Justrite Limited hereby register our condolences with the family and Kingsguard Security. May God console all of us. RIP Mr. Osewa.

We are sober, we are really sad about his sudden departure, but don't forget that we'll always love you, May the Creator accept our prayers on his behalf. Amen.

OH DEATH! BE NOT PROUD!!! Hearing about your demise was the most shocking and painful news I heard all year. It took me right back to the first conversation I had with you; your sincerity, your sublime command of English language and your vigour left me stunned and enthusiastic to work with you. I knew you for only 11 months but within that short time, you left a lasting impact in my life. You handled the department with conscientiousness, guile and motivation. I looked forward to Monday meetings because I wanted to hear you speak. I still replay your frequent jokes in my head. You were not only a boss but an exemplary figure. You were an embodiment of all the attributes of a proper human -( humorous, attentive, smart, hardworking, kind, leader, admirable, and most of all God-fearing). I will miss you dear boss. Departmental meetings will never be the same without your voice, zoom meetings will not be as exciting without you being the host. You were a sagacious boss, so full of grandeur, an intrepid explorer of great ideas and values, a rare colossus. Rest on my dear Mr. Osewa. A LION IN THE TRIBE OF KINGS GUARDS.

TRIBUTE TO NIYI OSEWA Shock Disbelief None who heard it now Saw it coming Not among friends or neighbours Nor in the KGNL family How could a request So casually made For a 3-day rest Turned perpetual? In those last moments Your spouse prevailed in loud protestation Joined by the children They refused to let go With soul receding they clutched Your body In profuse prayers Insisting this was not “n could not be The promise of God But what do we know of the promise of the Almighty Beyond what we arrogate to ourselves in blind faith? The dead mourn the dead We profess riches and longevity The road to one we all can manoeuvre The other is the jealous preserve of A FATHER we can never understand however close we become But this much is true, You loved the Lord And your conversion was real You lived it You walked the talk The profound verses you sent me at each new dawn Formed the foundation of my daily communion with the heavenly You will be sorely missed Yet in this consolation We must allow a confident smile If any special place is reserved for those HIS beloved In a mansion beyond our earthly sight That’s where you’d be Rest there now on, Niyi In timeless peace

TRIBUTE IN REMEMBRANCE OF OMONIYI OSEWA (BABALOLA) (1961 TO 2020) It is sunset at dawn! I find it very difficult to believe that my friend and my brother, Niyi Babs, has passed on. When I received the call from Bros Akin on Saturday 11th July 2020 that he has passed on the previous day, I could scarcely comprehend what he was saying. Not until I got to Ikorodu some few hours later and I saw the crowd in front of his house that it really sunk in that I have really lost a bosom friend. I met Niyi for the first time at Ilesa Grammar School in 1981 during our HSC days. Since that time, he has been a friend and a confidant. Niyi was a joie de vivre spreading joy and good cheer wherever he was. He has a good sense of humour and was in his early years a rabble rouser and a ladies’ man. He was the DJ at my call to Bar party and the MC at my wedding in 1991 where he caused a stir when he declared that he would not marry until the year 2000. We thought he was joking! Post-University, he worked in various places before joining Sea Petroleum and Gas Company Limited where he rose to management position and was part of the early success story of the company. He resigned from SPG later and forayed into various ventures before joining the services of Kings Guards Nigeria Limited where he ended up as an Executive Director before his sudden and painful demise. At the beginning of the millennium, there was a sea change in Niyi’s life as he became completely born again and devoted himself to the worshipping and serving of our Lord, Jesus Christ. To those of us who knew him before, we could scarcely comprehend that our friend will suddenly start proclaiming the Gospel of salvation and we thought it was a passing fancy. However, Niyi proved us all wrong and day by day his devotion to God became stronger and he has been used by God as an instrument for the propagation of His Words. It is impossible to question God why he has taken away our Niyi at the prime of his life but I strongly suspect that he has gone to heaven to fill a vacancy in the Angelic rank. He has run the race and the crown of glory is his. Niyi was a devoted family man and my heart goes to his beautiful wife, Pat and the kids. I urge you and all members of the family to take solace in the fact that he lived a good and impactful life. It is difficult not to mourn the passing of such a beautiful soul but I take solace in the eternal admonition in Thessalonians 4:13 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope”. We have hope that Niyi has gone home to rest and that he is on the right hand side of the Lord. Rest on beloved. Niyi Agbola Lagos, 15th July 2020.

Brother Niyi, our mouth cannot express our deep loss we encounter on your death, but we cannot question GOD because He has the final say. We ask GOD to grant your soul eternal rest in His bosom.Amen.

Oh my God. This is so painful to me. My friend and brother Niyi is gone? Father please uphold the rest of us and please comfort the wife, children and family our beloved Niyi left behind in Jesus name.

FARWELL!!! The Chairman, Board of Directors, Management and the entire staff of Kings Guards Nigeria Limited, mourns the painful exit of our Executive Director, Mr. Omoniyi John Osewa. He was a great man, a passionate leader, a mentor and an orator. Words are not enough to describe how gentle and humble you were. You had a very good sense of humour putting smiles on the faces of those around you at every moment. You never relented in bringing out the best in others even when you noticed their shortcomings. You were an embodiment of compassion, uprightness, kindness, generosity with a pure heart. We in Kings Guards Nig. Ltd can not forget your contributions for the growth of the company. You were the sunshine, the unifier, a trailblazer, a great administrator and one who always had a positive outlook on any situation no matter how difficult it seems. Your Godly counsel and wisdom will be missed. With the rare fortitude of a true Christian, you fought gallantly while we prayed fervently. Alas, the Almighty God, in His unquestionable wisdom and omnipotence has called you home. You served the Lord with uncommon zeal and we believe that you have found rest in His bosom. There is no doubt the entire Kings Guards family will miss you sorely. For the family you left behind, we pray for the strength and grace to keep and sustain you through this difficult time.
