It was such a shock to hear about your passing. A warrior, you fought right till the end. I am grateful for all the love you showed and all the joy you radiated to everyone around you. I take solace in the fact that you’re in a much better place, resting with the Lord. Rest well Big Big Daddy, I love you forever.

Lola Olorunda (mrs)

"FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS ". THE NEWS OF YOUR DEATH CAME TO US AS A RUDE SHOCK. WE RUSHED DOWN TO YOUR PLACE AND MET YOU ON YOUR BED AS IF YOU WERE ASLEEP, BUT ALAS THE UNEXPECTED HAD HAPPENED.! ALTHOUGH WE WERE FIGHTING AGAINST ALL ODDS, WE ALL HAD SO MUCH HOPE THAT YOU WOULD MAKE IT GIVEN YOUR POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND GREAT WILL POWER. YOU HAD THE WILL TO SURVIVE DESPITE YOUR HEALTH CHALLENGES, AND HAD SO MANY REASONS TO LIVE FOR. I HAVE SUCH FOND MEMORIES OF MY BROTHER INLAW ,WHO I HAD KNOWN FOR CLOSE TO 30 YEARS. NO DULL MOMENT WITH HIM. YOU CAN'T MEET HIM AND NOT LAUGH, NO MATTER THE SITUATION. YOU TOUCHED SO MANY LIVES WITH YOUR KINDNESS, CARE, LOVE AND HUMOUR WHICH WERE PART OF YOU. I CAN'T STILL BELIEVE YOU ARE GONE, BUT WE TAKE SOLACE IN THE WORD OF GOD IN PSALMS 147 V 3( " HE HEALS THE BROKEN HEARTED AND BINDS UP THEIR WOUNDS "). YOU WILL FOREVER REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS. REST IN PERFECT PEACE SIR.

Iyabode Olorunda

Dele, you will be missed. O death, where is your sting? O hades, where is your victory? I didn't see it coming very soon. I remember when my dad (Baba Loke) handed me over to you and said you should take care of me, then death came and took you early. I remember the last time we spoke and you ended the call by saying "God bless you". I know you are in a better place. Rest in the bosom of the Lord Almighty.

Oluwaferanmi and Oluwafayokunmi

Grandpa Abeokuta like we normally call you. We miss your voice and seeing your face. We were scheduled for a video call the day you slept in the Lord. We know you are in a better place. Adebola and Olajumoke misses you. Rest in peace. Adieu.

Olusola Oyesola

Olusolaaaa as you fondly call me. No dull moment with you. You always encourage us to do more and be more. I can never forget how you helped me to stop stammering. You loved music (morning dose of Orlando owo). Daddy will arrange his currency notes before putting them in his wallet, always immaculate in his appearance. No one is ever uncomfrotable in his company, very jovial, kind, accomodating and principled. Your last message to me was to wish me a happy birthday and pray me. The last time we spoke, I promised to come visiting before the end of the month. Now I wish I had visited earlier. "A je a di". Adieu Daddy, continue to rest in the bossom of the Lord.

Temidayo Kunle-Olaleye

Dear Daddy, I believe you're in a better place now free from pain and all the challenges of this world. Alaye, as you were fondly called by your brothers, a very jovial, cheerful and loving man, never a dull moment with you. Pele my dear, le aya mi, 'wa bi mi bo' as you always respond to my greetings. We will surely miss you, continue to rest in peace till we meet to part no more. Adieu Daddy Alaye.

Sola Olaleye

Awe Chatilo, you would always answered my calls. Now sadly that is no more. Whenever we occasionally reminiscence our days in Owo while living with our Uncle John(Ven Ogundimite), it was always with noselagia. Now that will be no more. You were accommodating to all; relatives and friends even when it was obvious your privacy was encroached upon, you never for once showed it. You had your peculiar jokes and you were a master in mimicking people. We will miss you sorely. There is time for everything. Once you were welcome to this world, now we are bidding you adieu. Rest in the bossom of your Lord till resurrection day. O di kaa se o Oyeeennnn.

Olayemi Adewusi nee Olorunda

Bami my first love, you left way earlier than expected. I understand that the pain was too much and you are in a better place. I will always miss you. Next!! As you are fondly called by your friends. A very jovial and cheerful person. Just 5 minutes with you and one is holding the ribs due to laughter from your jokes. My very neat father, you always arrange your money according to the denomination in your wallet. I remember the monday mornings when you wax your peugeot 504 car so that the black color can be shining before taking it to work. I remember you taking your bath and singing the psalm 23 song in Okeluse dialect. You loved music and you unconsciously play the piano with your fingers against the chair while the hymns are being sang during service. I have so many fun memories of you. Love you till eternity Like you always say "Ka sa ma she daadaa, Ka rora ma wu iwa epe diedie". Rest in peace.
