I am so sorry to hear of Nicola's passing. I had the pleasure of teaching a few sessions to Nicky when she was UWS and she was such a lovely lassie. My thoughts go out to her friends and family at this difficult time x

Nicky was a wonderful friend and classmate at university. We were the students who were mums and we appreciated having someone else who got that other part of life. I remember her feeling proud of studying and how it was showing her daughters that it's good to follow your dreams. Nicky was so kind and generous of spirit, she really helped me during those two years and I was very appreciative of her. I remember the journey she had over the course, struggling a bit and not really enjoying the academic part at the beginning and then at the end, loving it and wanting to carry on with it. Not having Nicky in our lives is such a huge loss, she was such a ray of sunshine and her passion and enthusiasm was contagious. I will always remember her smile
