After a short illness, Neil Elliott has passed away, with his family by his side. Neil recently received his long service award for 45 years of dedication and was a permanent fixture at the Hatfield/Leavesden centre which he led for many years . Many of you will have fond memories of Neil—he was a larger-than-life character with a heart always in the right place. He was fiercely loyal to the teams he led and the customers he supported, always going the extra mile to help others. Whether responding to incidents, helping colleagues, or putting BT and his people first, he was deeply committed. He truly was a ‘Hatfield legend’—a testament to hard work, dedication, and of course, only to be rivalled by his beloved Arsenal. Neil will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Thinking of all of Neil's family and friends at this time. Neil helped organise tickets for my dad and I to an Arsenal game, brought us on a tour around Highbury and the area and gave us an unforgettable day, I will always remember him fondly for the time and effort he gave to us, who were total strangers to him but shared a love of Arsenal and a mutual friend. Thoughts and prayers with you all at this sad time.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Neil’s family and friends. I was lucky enough to have met Neil through work several years ago, as many have said, Neil was kind, loyal and funny. He cared so much about those he worked with, and worked so hard for them. Neil could inject his unique sense of humour into many a meeting, which has left so many of us with happy memories! Neil was such a valued colleague and was an honour to have worked with him.
