On Thursday, September 10th, 2020, Kenneth Mutai Rono, brother, friend, cousin, son to many, passed away at age 42. Mutai was born on June 6, 1978. In 1993 he joined The Alliance high school and formed lifelong bonds with so many Old boys. This is a tribute from his brothers. Rest well. Strong to Serve.

Mutai Rono. You have lived your life, Served your purpose. I knew Mutai Rono In 1992 when we both joined Allince High School and have been close ever since we both parted ways after high School. This has been through an Alliance high school old boys Class forum where we had re-united for a course. To the family, I stand with you during this difficult time. Ken was quiet but not silent. He listened more than he spoke, then spoke the truth when it needed to be heard. His presence was always a positive in any gathering. His absence will be felt and I will miss him deeply.
