I met Mpathisi when he bought my house and then we lost contact for 20 years. We reconnected about 4 years ago. I will always remember you as a gentleman, kind, compassionate, a teacher and always willing to laugh. You were such a special person. I am sad that we will not be able to talk together when you are 80 years old. My condolences to all who loved and were loved by Mphathisi. You walk with us, my Brother.

Mkhuluwa, Ndindxwelerhekile! I’m usually so wordy, as you know...however, today I’m bereft and out of words, save to say, THANK YOU - for everything.

Rest in eternal peace TC, Mphathisi. You have served your purpose fully. From the sidelines of the sports field at Clifton, through those sometimes awkward socials at high school, through to adulthood, you made an impact on everyone you met. To the Filtane Family, Aunt Nomfundo Phumza, Pindiwe, you children and your entire Family, we are keeping you in our Prayers.

Can't believe you upped and left us just like that!? You were so excited about the upcoming MHS125 celebrations ...It hurts that you are no more, such a remarkable man blessed with a golden heart and a beautiful mind. Classy, dependable , engaging ,truly a fine gentleman. Fly high beautiful one! Big hugs to Phindiwe , the kids and the rest of the Filtane family.
