So sorry to hear.. I haven’t been at 2424 long but from my few interactions with Miguel, I know that he’s a wonderful person and always ready to help at a moments noticed. I actually questioned “why is he being so nice to me” his kindness was just out of the conventional norm. A light that will truly be missed. I feel deeply for anyone that had a close relationship with him as it must be devastating. I’m so sorry.

Miguel, I cannot put into words how painful your sudden loss is. I’ve been avoiding the office since hearing of your departure - I can’t imagine what 2424 is without you. I will miss your morning cheek kisses, your hugs, your laughter, your smile, and your jokes. You brighten my workdays with so much joy. You quickly become a friend. We bond over our distance from our respective motherlands, our love of dogs and plants. You’re always so happy to see my Lola, greeting her with gentle pets every time, even though she acts snobby, that never stops you. You always call me mami - in that warm, familiar way that makes me feel seen and cared for. You have a gift for lifting people up, for spreading joy in such simple, honest ways. I will miss you popping into the office to ask if I’m hungry and bringing me your favorite pepperoni pretzel pizza. You are a truly beautiful and generous soul. I will always cherish the time we share, the energy you bring, and the light you leave behind.
