Michael (Mick) Crean

I worked with Mick over the last 4 years. Such a unique character, work-wise he had a great knack for explaining complicated concepts in a simplified manner using "real-world" examples for everything. It was great to spend some time with him when we returned to the office (and the pub!) this year when the lockdowns ended. He'd talk to anyone about anything, he wasn't one for the small talk - when you ran into him in the canteen or the pub you were not quite sure what you would end up debating with him! I'll always remember fondly the laughs he gave us, the underlying warmness and kindness he had and his great outlook on life, both working and in general. I'm going to miss him massively and I know anytime I see a motorbike heading down the M50 I'll think of my mate Mick!

I had the pleasure to work with Mick for at least seven years. He made such a big impact on the C2C process that we manage from Warsaw. Not only did he have the knowledge and expertise but more importantly he always shared it with others. He never "just" solved problems he made sure people understood the context and tried to equip them with tools to manage on their own. In that regard he was a mentor and a teacher really for all of us. Always found the time for a conversation, discussion or a friendly chat. We got things done but also enjoyed ourselves along the way. I always smiled and laughed a lot with him. CP will not be the same without Mick... Will miss you, amigo!

Mick was an amazing mentor, coach and colleague. He had a great perspective on life and work. So patient and so generous with his time. All of our interns have called out how he took time to train them and share his life experience, always with a great story. I've been lucky enough to take a few trips with Mick over the years and really enjoyed his company. He was able to make friends with people from all generations and cultures. A true gentleman. He will be very much missed by us all. Rest in Peace Mick.

I have the fondest memories of working with Mick over the past few years. He was always so generous with his time and knowledge, and always ready to share a laugh and a plan and philosophy. He really was a lovely man and will be missed. RIP Mick.

A friend, a mentor and a colleague. Mick had a great zest for life. He was generous with his time, and always took the time to help others and share his wisdom, with a story or two thrown in. You always knew is Mick’s motor bike wasn’t in the carpark in the morning, it would rain that day if it wasn’t raining already. I will miss him. May he rest in peace.

Mick was a very jolly man, always a great chat whether in the office or out smoking or out drinking. He was always happy to share his knowledge, and always used to bring everything down to the basics "Now, the craic with this is!!". While trying to figure out an issue at somebody's screen, he would often say "Slow down, you are going too fast for me". Sadly, he left us too fast. I cant imagine the team without him and I am sure we will miss him and keep him in our hearts. RIP Mick

Mick was one of a kind, he had a great approach to life and always freely shared his wisdom in one form or another. He had no time for waffle and could see the funny side of any story. You always knew when Mick was in the building and were sure to bump into him at some point in your day.. I cant imagine the place without him and I know he will be missed. RIP Mick.

Mick was a huge part of our team, an expert on SAP, a great guy to work with, a great mentor to many of our team members, a great person to chat with, and above all, a rock of sense. He will be sorely missed by all of us. RIP
