Michael devoted his life to training Healthcare professionals by ensuring that the SMAE Institute is always at the forefront of private sector Podiatry and Foot Health education in the UK. He worked tirelessly to enable generations of SMAE graduates to become the pillars of private Podiatry and Foot Health Practice both in the UK and overseas. Michael also gave a great deal of his time and resources to charitable works, which included flying transplant organs around the country, running a hospice and respite care centre in Buckinghamshire, and providing premises for a residential care home. Michael was truly a beacon of both the Healthcare and Charitable communities. Michael's contributions will be permanently etched in history.

Very saddened to hear the news of Michael's passing, I trained with the SMAE Institute in 2016 after a decision to change profession,I have never looked back and met Michael during the clinical phase of the training , a very nice man who took a keen interest in everyone.
