Matt Davies was well known for his streams on Twitch under the handle Belynz, eventually changing it to MattDavies. Matt brought a smile to everyone's face when he was streaming and was a true entertainer to many fans across the world. As a true pioneer in the Flight Simulation community, Matt went on to make the well-known virtual flight sim tracking software, projectFLY.

Matt was By Far my most Watched Creator on All the Platforms he posted on, I first watched his Videos 11 Years ago on his Thomson Airways 757 on FSX and ever since then I have take aviation to Heart and have played the game non stop thanks to Clicking onto matt’s Videos and giving me my New found Hobby, I couldn’t thank him enough, he was an amazing person, funny kind and transparent on all subjects, I miss him and I hope he getting the rest that he Truly deserves. Thank you Matt.

A man who shaped my and hundreds, if not, thousands of lives. I started to watch him in 2015, and from there he really bolstered my passion for flight sim and gave me the extra kick to pursuit my dream of becoming a pilot. His tutorial videos on flying the airliners were extremely helpful and very well done. If it wasn't for him, I don't think I would know so much about aircraft and how they operate. An extremely funny, intelligent and interesting man, who opened himself out, particularly with his weight loss journey. That, coupled with projectFLY, and his PPL journey, his insights and the memes - all of those things made him fascinating, and is also what made him so enjoyable to listen to. I owe him so much. Left us way too early. Literally watched hundreds of hours of his streams and always looked forward to them. Wouldn't care about flightsim the way I do now if it weren't for him. Hope he's flying high as we speak.

As a very long time lurker in Matt's stream, I never really had the chance to talk to Matt or get to know him personally. But as with hundreds of others, Matt has been an inspiration right from the day I found out about his work and the joy he brought me each stream was irreplaceable.
