Hi Rajo; thinking about you a lot lately and was looking at some photos as well. Things have settled down now after the holidays and into the New Year. Hope you are doing well on the other side and see you again when I get there. Remembering a lot of fun times and funny things as well; cheers! so glad I got to see you in Mex pre-pandemic.

We were saddened to hear of Mark's passing. We remember the fun times when Aunt Mae, Uncle Tony and family visited Aunt Ann and Uncle Joe's farm. It is wonderful that Mark lived his life "His Way" Creating Wonderful Memories.

Very sad news to here my condolences to your family. Mark was a special sole that lived life his own way . I have had the opportunity to live with my friend to go on many outstanding adventures ! Skiing in whistler , fishing from Victoria and sea to sky area . And can forget the times just relaxing and talking . R I P Mark

Mark is one of the smartest guys/brother in laws I had the pleasure of knowing. He simply lived life on his terms without getting caught up in the trappings of the western rat race. He really was from an bygone era as he embodied a simplistic yet adventurous living that most cannot fathom in this materialistic age. it's hard to believe such a vibrant, gentle soul has left this realm. But then again the adage "only the good die young" is true to form. Mark, you left a gentle footprint on this planet and your memory will be forever cherished by those you touched. May you forever continue exploring on this next phase of your journey.

You beat to your own drum . Lived life on your own terms. Miss you already Bro !! You loved exploring & being in the great outdoors. Your happy place , and was always mine too. Keep livin’ the dream wherever you go out there … . Big Hug !! Big Mark

I breaks my heart to hear that Mark is gone so soon. I always looked up to uncle Mark. He taught me the about beauties of nature and the mystery of the ocean, to live in the moment, and enjoy the simple things in life. I was fortunate enough to spend some time with him on the island when I was younger, it was one of the best times I've ever had. He showed me some of the most surreal and beautiful places this world has to offer. I'll never forget the big old salmon dragging him around in his little yellow kayak as the empty handed fisherman passed by in there massive boats. He was a true wild man with a huge sense of adventure and an even bigger heart. Every minute I spent with him was epic. Thank you for the memories I will cherish them forever and miss you dearly ❤

I share the shock and profound sadness of Mark's passing, and extend my condolences to his family and friends. I read a text last night that described Mark as the ultimate "man in motion", making his home with friends and family in places around BC, Alberta and Mexico. I was lucky that Mark slowed his roll a bit to spend a few years with me - at two different times in our lives. We had so many amazing adventures around BC and in Mexico, and many wonderful quiet moments at home. Mark showed me the value of really embracing the moment you were in. I still can't believe that Mark won't be kayaking into old age, but I agree with others that he will live on forever in our hearts.
