Margaret Davison

Margaret was first person I spoke to when joining the committee for the first time and frequently asked us stop voting her back in but we kept voting. My condolences to Charles and all of Margaret’s family and friends, she will be missed by all!

Margaret was 1 in a million and will be deeply missed by the Hockey Club and beyond. As well as a team mate Margaret became a friend over the years and I will cherish those moments of friendship on and off the hockey field. Margaret always had a kind word, gave wise guidance & never ending help to the club and showed nothing but generous hospitality to her family and friends. I'll miss you Margaret, rest in peace x

Margaret gave a warm welcome to my girls when they joined the hockey club (me too !) and was a kind friend and encouraging team mate at all times- thank you Margaret. Always a 'go to person' for all the teams she played for - 'we need a goalie comes to mind'-Margaret would 'put on the pads'and do a great job. Above all Margaret was kind and available to help anyone - demonstrating all the qualities of how a member of a club should behave- always with a cheery face. Sending deepest sympathy to the family. You will be missed Margaret - though never forgotten.

Our deepest condolences from all members of Blobbies Army who are lucky enough to have met you and benefitted from a warm welcome at festival each year.

Margaret was one of the ladies who helped me transition from the juniors into the seniors and I played alongside her for a number of years. She was always incredibly supportive. My mum will also miss having a chat with her on the sideline whilst cheering us on. Margaret you will be greatly missed xx

Margaret was a great team mate and true team player, always willing to step in wherever needed on and off the pitch. She was a kind and lovely lady who knew how to have a good giggle! I will miss seeing her friendly smile at the club and of course her teddy bear backpack. Margaret, you will be sorely missed by all. Rest in peace x

Such devastating news. I remember Margaret from my time with NTHC and she was always doing something to help someone. She will be greatly missed. RIP Margaret.
