My best friend and the best stepdad I could have asked for. Iv never met anyone so funny, those are the memories that are helping the grief every day. I am so grateful for all the adventures, food and hilarious times we had. The hard times in New Zealand that you went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, I am so thankful to have had you there. I have re-watched Friends twice since you left just to hear our favourite phrases. Missing you immensely every day xxx

So many memories and so many emotions.having lived with you in the Netherlands and in Australia. unfortunately you had to move to New Zealand and we slowly lost contact.i always expected you to knock on my door some day.but I guess I ll have to wait. Meer dan 20 jaar hebben we naar je gezocht. Onze zoon nam je mee naar ons huis in Zaandam omdat je geen onderdak had. Je hebt een tijd bij ons gewoond en toen ging je naar Australië onze zoon achterna. We hebben nog foto s van je huis gekregen en van jou met je dochtertje samen. Die fotos heb ik altijd bewaard. Dear Marcus, you have always been apart of our family. You had a great heart, always laughing and a good sense of humour. Unfortunately we lost contact over the years.
