Dr Krishnan Subramanian was our dear friend and consultant anaesthetist at Royal Derby Hospital in UK who sadly passed away from COVID 19 complications. This immeasurable loss plunged his family and friends into deep darkness. He is survived by his loving wife and son. He was known for his lovely smile, bubbly speech and hearty laugh which is still ringing in our ears. His kind, gentle, highly intellectual and outgoing personality always made a great impression and enlivened everyone around him. His sudden demise is heart wrenching for many of us. We believe that he will always be with us in our beautiful memories and would only like us to celebrate memories about him and his life.

Dear krishna My hands shake when I write this. You were my classmate but you were like a younger brother who was very wise. I still can't believe what happened. I still hope that you will come back to look after your family. You spoke so highly of your wife and you expressed so much admiration for your son. You guided my daughter about which medical school she can apply too...it was only one month ago. You imparted knowledge about corona virus and treatment. You were a down to earth person and you treated all alike. You made sure others are doing ok during this pandemic by calling us, joining the zoom. Then...this happened. Where ever you are friend please be reassured that we will always be your friend and I will remember the chats we had. I pray for you and your family. Don't know what else to say. You will be remembered as this super intelligent down to earth humble Doctor who looked after his family and patients and friends till the end
