Dear Uncle Tunda, we remember our childhood visits to Palm grove with fondness. Your smile, gentle laughter especially with our dad who called you ' Sir Tunda'. You will be missed but we are comforted that you lived full life and you are in a better place. Till we meet again, rest in peace Uncle Tunda.

I was befuddled and saddened by the news of my dearest friend departure to be with the Lord and his parents. May the good angels receive him, may the Lord cover him with His feathers and condolences to his family here on earth especially his wife , Mrs. Bolajoko. Our prayers are with you, may the Lord strengthen and comfort you, may He help you in your healing process, your husband was a great and dear friend of over 50 years. Both my wife and I pray that he rest in perfect peace . Sleep old friend your work here is completed, the Lord has just removed a flower for His heavenly garden. God bless. TRIBUTE TO UNCLE TUNDA: Your death was a rude shock to me because I spoke with you few days before it happened! You gave me a source of livelihood. I will never forget the day you took me in your car to the defunct Afribank’s Chairman’s office to ensure that I get a job as a young graduate. The effort paid off. It was the beginning of my career and what I am by His grace today. Your openness, straightforwardness, uprightness and ebullience endeared you to all and and sundry. The news of Uncle Tunda’s passing was a rude shock to me. He was a kind and gentle soul. Knowing him has been a blessing. I pray God comforts his family through this saddening times. Amen

The shock of your demise is still lingering, I still can't believe it. My beloved brother , I thank God for a life well lived. I console myself with the happy memories we shared. You were always supportive and stood by me. We sometimes spent hours talking about sweet nothings, laughing. You possess an easy charm and a gentle manner was admirable. You made everyone feel at ease and valued. You will be remembered fondly not only by your nuclear family but by distant relatives and friends, for magnanimity, charity and open arms were a source of comfort for many. A farewell and goodnight to a dear and childhood friend..O'Finna Paris, as we call him.He was goodman, quiet, decent and unassuming character. We met at CMS Grammar School in 1965 along with Messers Gori Ogbara,Late Femi Vigo and Jide Doherty all in the boarding house..I ve so many memories of Tunda in & out of school and in UK but no time to pen down all. But one particular instance is the installation of our school gates, commissioned recently in December 2019 and a pride of our Alma mater and to all old students of CMS. Tunda and few others were very instrumental to the project working day nd night for the completion.It was a huge success nd tank God Tunda was part thereof......Today my friend is gone to rest with his lord..May the almighty God grant him eternal rest, and comfort the family left behind.....Adieu ..O' Finna....!!!
