Klaus - Gerhard Aechtner

Iets kort schrijven over Capt Aechtner, want zo sprak ik hem bijna altijd aan, is onbegonnen werk. Stowplannen maken en uit laten voeren zonder al te veel poespas kon hij als de besten. Wat ik vooral nooit zal vergeten is zijn danstalent dat hij keer op keer tijdens bedrijfsfeestjes tentoon spreidde en de schittering in zijn ogen bij elk verhaal over zijn dierbare familie. Bedankt voor alles dat ik van hem heb mogen leren. Heel veel sterkte aan iedereen die hem liefheeft. Mieke vw

With Gerhard’s death part of my life went away as well. Knew Gerhard for more than 20° years. Spent many, many hours during discussion concerning loading of our vessels, our privet life. His death is really very great loss. Still can't accept that He is no longer with us. We will never have our "ops meetings" after working hours, ours Friday's lunches.

Gerhard was the symbol of knowledge, experience and creativity. Always ready to help with his good humor and kindness. He stays with us.
