Kinnard Wright

The best way to describe Kinnard Wright was "larger than life". He loved his family, people, and to have a good time. Standing 6'3" another description that comes to mind is "gentle giant." He was a man who would almost always speak his mind but would always do it with kindness and a heart to strive to do the right thing. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Wright, his two sons Kinnard "K.C." Wright and Jonathan "Jon" Wright, and his granddaughter, Shayla Wright. He also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends to remember him and how he has touched their lives.

I never met Kinnard Wright, but what a terrific bio of dedication to important work. So sad his life ended too soon. May his spirit always be loved and never forgotten by HUD, his family, and those from his academia and community outreach roles.
