Karl Hager

Losing Karl has been such a massive shock to us all. He has been a steadfast presence, always generously offering his support and kind words. You will be greatly missed.

I worked with Karl for a good while, most of them in the same team. I really liked him because he was warm, intelligent, kind and had the best humour. You will be greatly missed Karl, hope you are reunited with Ninja and playing some tunes with Bowie up there.

I met Karl when I first joined QA in 2018. We talked a lot about Ninja, music, art and films, he made me laugh and expanded my views with our chats. A very generous and kind person, I always looked forward to seeing him and discussing a film he recommended or a book he lent me. I cherish this time spent together and miss him greatly.

I worked with Karl for several years and we had many a long chat about our shared interests of Bowie, Leonard Cohen and cats. Karl knew so much about so many things and I enjoyed hearing about his past exploits. I hope you and Ninja are reunited now, Rest peascefully,

I remember Karl from when I started QA years ago and we would often have chats about music together. His passion and knowledge was always refreshing and interesting. He was a very kind and extremely cool individual, I will never forget him. The department will not be the same without him, he will be very missed.

I only knew Karl for a short while but he was one of the first to welcome me into the QA team. Karl and I knew of each other via emails from my previous employer before I transferred over to D&G and he remembered this which I thought was a really nice touch. I would like to have gotten to know him better and I'm sure we would have shared our passion for music. A very sad loss and I know he will be missed.

I worked with Karl for over 13 years and he was a gem and a joy to be around. Dryly witty with a smile that always lit up his whole face, I could count on him to make me laugh even when he perhaps didn't intend to. We each always had time to talk to each other about our cats and all their shenanigans, current events, or whatever happened to be the topic of the day. Affable, effortlessly generous with his time, and an all around fantastic colleague who I'll greatly miss.
