El Dr. Jonathan Russin fundó la firma que originalmente se llamó ‘Kirkwood, Kaplan, Russin & Vecchi’ en el año 1969 junto a sus socios Charles Kirkwood, Julius Kaplan, y Sesto Vecchi, con oficinas en Bangkok, Tailandia; Washington, DC; Santo Domingo, R.D.; y Saigón (hoy Ciudad de Ho Chi Minh), Vietnam. Jonathan Russin fue un verdadero visionario del derecho. Después de fundar la oficina de Santo Domingo, decide explorar nuevos horizontes y se muda a España para abrir una oficina en Madrid. Su pasión por la practica transaccional del derecho lo llevaba siempre a buscar nuevos desafíos. Con la caída del muro de Berlín y la desintegración de la Unión Soviética, vio la oportunidad de reconectar con su ascendencia ortodoxa y en el año 1991 abre la oficina en Moscú, luego abriendo dos oficinas más en Vladivostok y Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Pero, ante todo, Jonathan era un abogado de intachable ética, respetuoso de su palabra y de un firme compromiso con la excelencia en la búsqueda de los mejores intereses de los clientes.
