John Mills

Condolences to Johns wife and family. Such an wonderful man and an amazing dentist. Mr Mills as I knew him, sorted my teeth out from being a small child. I grew up visiting for check ups and other extensive dental work in my teenage years, as I had gaps in my teeth and needed brace. I remember his kindness, softly spoken and very calm person. He was just the best Dentist ever. As I got older I went through a rough patch and neglected my teeth for a few years, I wrote Mr Mills a personal letter apologizing for neglecting my teeth, explaining that I couldn't see another dentist, would he please take a look at my teeth, as I was about to get married. He made it as I could smile again. I am so grateful at 47 years old I still have those beautiful teeth he so carefully took care of as I grew up. Thank you so much John a true legend may you rest in peace xx

Condolences for Susan and family. John was an amazing man that made you feel at ease and welcome at Vasculitis UK. He always had a smile and a kind word. He (and Susan) has helped so many sufferers and their families. I will be forever grateful and thankful to have known John. Thank you John and god bless

Sincere condolences to Susan and family and friends on the loss of John, a tireless campaigner for the patients family and friends and professionals tackling vasculitis and rare diseases. Thank you all for everything you have both done for the vasculitis community and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you John for all you did. You gave hope and direction in the darkest days to many people. I shall remember you always and talk about you often

John probably saved my life around 15 years ago when I was first diagnosed. I had a lot of back and forth emails with him and he told me exactly what to ask in my appointments and who I needed to be referred to. An absolutely amazing, dedicated, kind and caring man who I am forever in debt to! Sincere condolences to Sue and family. Lots of love! Sophie x

My sincere condolences to Susan and family. I never met John but when my g.p and consultant were in denial regarding me having vasculature John had the knowledge of more than anyone I have encountered with this disease .. he pointed me in the right direction towards a proper diagnosis. I have so much to thank him for. John will be sadly missed by his family and his knowledge which I will forever be thankful for . He will be so missed by the vasculitus family. R.I.P John x

Dear Susan, I’m so sorry I could not make the memorial service today but I have been thinking of you and your family a lot. I have wonderful memories and photos of John or JohnMills as we always called him. A truly amazing individual with so many talents. Our families go back a long way.
