Joel Hoare

There’s no right amount of words we can put on this to express how great of a person Joel was, but if we had to summarise it in one sentence, “Joel had a very Joel sense of humour and approach to work and life”. You could just immediately tell that a message or comment would have come from him, he was so unique in the way he’d approach a task and you could see the heart and passion he put into it as he was delivering it, he was always so unassuming and would ask amazing questions and become so invested in any project he was on, he lived and breathed doing the right thing for people and that flourished in his work. Outside of work he was no different, his humour and approach to life was incredible, he’d always have the time of day for anyone, and would go above and beyond to make you feel like part of the group regardless of if you’d known him for five minutes or five years. From giving in depth pool advice, to smashing it up on the table tennis court, Joel was a competitive, but humble guy, who just wanted everyone to have a great time, he was a fierce flame on nights out, and even though that flame has passed on somewhere else, we still feel that warmth and care from an incredible man. He was an incredible father and often spoke in great detail and passion about what he was up to with his family over the weekend or in the evenings, it was wonderfully wholesome to listen to. You were an incredible worker, father, friend and we love you Joel, we miss you deeply, but you live on in the best moments of all of us.
