Can’t describe Joe he was a one-off. A loving caring person . A man with a warm and ready smile and the laughs …well! I think we will all miss him for so many reasons. He was the type of person who came into your life and it was like he’d always been there…..I offer my condolences to Sis Merrily and all the family left behind. He is resting in Gods peace, may God strengthen you all.

I will forever be grateful that I met you in 2022. From that day, you welcomed me and my daughter into your family without hesitation and loved us like your own. You proudly called me "My princess", and my daughter, " My granddaughter ". You made us feel seen, valued and truly at home. Your joy was contagious and there was never a dull moment when you were around. It breaks my heart that I could not be with you in your final days. Your passing came too soon. You still had so much more laughter to share. Thank you for loving us unconditionally, Dad. Your kindness, pride and warmth will stay with us. Rest peacefully, dear Dad. We will carry you in our hearts always.

Brother Joel was a jolly, bubbly person. There was never a dull moment when he is around. He will be missed by many, a man that was full of life. May his soul be rest in peace has he joined those gone on before him.

Bro Joe was a larger than life character with an even bigger heart. My most cherished memories of him are when he’d take the time to always check in asking how my daughter was and when he encouraged my mum to take part in the fashion show at the community festival at our local church. He had so much love for people. I’m grateful I got to visit him recently in the hospital where even in that challenging time, he was still able to crack jokes and show so much love. Joe was such a selfless man and he will be greatly missed. Sleep in glory Brother Joe and take your rest.

Joe. Was a light just walk into a room which is full darkness, as soon as Joe enter the room thing has to change.... Because of Joe sense of humour your darkness becomes brightens because of Joe giving you a joke. Or deepest condolences to you Joe miss you God bless the family live streams and comfort in time of bereavement.

Joe was truly a one-off. His great sense of humour, making jokes out of any and everything. I joined the comedy team with Olivious plays and Mr Musmekit & the Ketchup Band, it was fun. But there was also his kindness and care. I'll truly miss him but look forward to the day we'll meet again.

Some things are truly final, and my heart feels heavy with loss. I will forever miss your funny jokes, the sound of your laughter, and your warm, comforting smile. Rest peacefully, dear Joe.

It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to Joe, who will be missed by us all. I first met Joe in 1992 on the 101, his regular bus route where he was a bus driver. We hit it off straight away. He would drive me into town and we would chat and laugh all the way. Those journeys were always filled with warmth and good humour. Thank you, Joe, for the countless happy memories over the past 34 years. We are blessed to have known you & thankful to have spent time with you during your retirement in the Gambia.
