Joann Harris, devoted mother and daughter, age 54 unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Sunday February 25, 2018. Joann was born in Elmira, New York and has spent the majority of her adult life residing in Florida where she passed away. Joann is survived by her only child, daughter “Sunshine”, Jodelle Henley (Scott Wilson); her loving mother, Joyce Harris; her older sister “Sissy”, Della Giovanni; her younger brother, Charles Harris; her Sisters “in Christ”, Linda Harris and Pamela Sanchez as well as a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and one niece. Joann was predeceased by her father, Delbert Harris and grandmother, Eleanor Kennedy. Joann was strong in her Faith and lived her life by Philippians 4:13 “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me” and the Serenity Prayer. Joann loved to encourage and give to others. Her smile could light up a room. She was passionate about nature and spending time with her large collection of plants. Joann loved to sing and share songs with her family to include “You are my Sunshine” and “Jesus Loves Me”. She loved her family and her greatest desire was for peace and restoration. A Celebration of Life is being planned in her Honor. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, to please plant a tree in her honor or make a donation in Joann’s name to Potter’s Field Ministries @ https://www.pottersfield.org/ways-to-give/other-giving/general-other-giving-form/. We will continue to honor her and carry her memory in our hearts.

Valentine forever in my heart, daughter A special daughter, friend , mother, acquaintance. She lighted up the world around us with her treasured pearls of love, ,courageous,wisdom,faith, and her testimonies , pier of her prayers, words of courage,that, she wins and god wins over the victory ! The power of god is always there close to our heart and every day of our lives ! She helped to continue being a witness for our lord Jesus, that we are always to keep our eyes focused on our lord jesus ! Jeremiah 29:11 She is deeply missed and shall meet her again. She is serving our lord now and she left a great legacy of her shared love for one another ! The storms of life we all join together with love . A future be bright , the best brought out in us and the future brings joy and love to one another ! She is greatly missed til we meet again ! Love her deeply til we meet again !
