Issa-Modi Ide

I was a childhood friend of Issa, and we had many good times together in New York, where we were students. Such a good and kind fellow. We lost touch with each other after graduating from the LFNY, and we never will renew our acquaintance. Such sadness.

It is with great sadness that I see Br. Issa has passed away. I spent a great three months at IsDb way back in 2011, and Issa was a frequent companion during my assignment to share his knowledge, experience and insights with a consultant working his way though the Bank system. Wonderfully kind and personable. A tremendous loss for IsDB and the development world. I kept up with him every year, but never expected such quick passing, Much condolences.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. It was a great shock to learn of the sudden passing away of Brother Issa Modi. A great loss to Africa and IsDB. He was a wonderful person; friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable. My deep sympathy and sincere condolences to his family and IsDB. I pray that Allah SWT have mercy on his soul and grant him Jannah Firdous. Ameen.

It's a great shock to hear the sad demise of Br. Issa Modi. He was a great human being, humble colleague and kind person. It's a great loss to Idb colleagues.
