With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Irene Kimathi, beloved wife of Tim Kimathi, devoted mother to Makena, Karani, and Gatwiri, cherished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Mugaa, and beloved daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Kinyuru. Irene passed away on 27 July 2026 after a long illness, which she endured with remarkable courage, grace, and unwavering faith. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit, deep compassion, and unwavering commitment to her family. She was a devoted wife and mother who treasured not only her immediate family but also her extended family, nurturing relationships with love, generosity, and genuine care. Family was at the heart of everything she did. A faithful Christian, Irene was an active church member, a respected member in community groups and initiatives, and a passionate advocate for social justice. She dedicated her life to serving others with humility, integrity, and kindness, touching countless lives through her selfless service. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of faith, love, family, and service will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Forever loved. Forever remembered.
