Indrek Porm

I was shocked to hear the passing of my dear friend Indrek from his son Simon, and Indrek's partner Mari. Indrek was a great man and a gentle giant who treated me and his other staff with dignity and respect. Indrek loved all things Australian and anything to do with Estonia. Indrek recruited me to CorVu as their WA Reginal Manager around 1996 and it was because of Indrek that I joined CorVu. Indrek and I together with rest of his staff had lots of fun, we worked hard and played hard. Indrek was a very generous man who never forgot to take me to lunch (at Mama's) or dinner whenever I travelled from Perth to CorVu's head office in Sydney. My family's and my condolences to all of Indrek's family and friends. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Condolences to family and friends of Uno on the sad news of his passing .

My heartfelt wishes to all his many family members. Having known Indrek since Sõrve days he was someone who definitely left an impression on those he met. My last really happy memory that I have is of a very long lunch at Niitvälja golf course in Tallinn where he discussed his plans to build a golf course in Eesti. Sounded like a good plan at the time anyway after a few reds.

RIP Indy. One summer when I was about 10, Indrek saved me from myself, rescuing me from a Bobbin Head playground. I had very cleverly wedged myself into a round plastic playground house window and was legitimately, immovably stuck. With my future prospects looking grim, Indrek grabbed the BBQ oil and doused my upper body, with his booming voice and one strong pull I was released. Sheepish but very much free, I thank him for saving me. Other found memories were of his booming support on the sidelines of our footy games, and a Swans grand final at Turramurra. RIP Indrek. JJM.

I was very sad to hear the news of Indrek's passing. I worked with Indrek for almost a decade in the late 90s and early 2000s at CorVu in North Sydney. He was a larger than life character and he was such an integral part of the Company. I remember him laughing, screaming, hanging up on his kids on various phone calls and driving the sales team as best as anyone. My sincere condolences to all Indrek's family and friends. Belinda xx

From Mara Our family friends from Estonia reconnected again in Sydney and one day I took 7 year old Uno to the beach while his parents worked. Ever since then when we met, he would introduce me as his very first girlfriend( only 15 years his senior haha) How sweet. From Chris Uno was a very social person, who made friends wherever he went. He loved a chat and lived life to the fullest. Party on up there mate, Musi kalli kalli Puhka Rahus !
