Jerome (Herb) Kaufmann was the loving husband of Arlene (Reynolds) Kaufmann and devoted father to Kathrin Bellknap and Kent Kaufmann. He was born on November 11th, 1931 in Buckley, Ill. And remained there until he graduated from high school. It was also there that he met Arlene.

There are many words to describe my Grandpa - kind, loving, selfless, and patient are just a few. I will always cherish the many memories him and I have shared. From putt-putt golf together, feeding the ducks in the park, discussing school, and waiting for his infamous homemade popcorn before starting a movie. I have learned so much from him, and I am sure that I will carry them throughout my life. I love you always Grandpa and I am blessed to have you.
