Grainne Moloney

Grainne was a valued member of our global child nutrition and development team. She contributed immensely to the nutrition sector through her dedication, warmth, and professionalism. In her recent role as Senior Adviser, (Early Childhood Nutrition and Development), she worked tirelessly and diligently to advance child-nutrition policies and programmes for women and children globally. Her expertise spanned both development and humanitarian contexts. She embodied the values that define our mission as an organization. Grainne truly stood for every child everywhere. Grainne touched the lives of so many with her kindness, generosity, and positive spirit. She led with courage, humility and compassion and was an incredible colleague and friend. She inspired countless nutrition professionals across countries and regions with her can and will do spirit. Her passion and commitment to child nutrition and development was always evident and lauded as one of her most endearing professional qualities. We have truly lost a leading light in the nutrition world. As a team, we honor and celebrate Grainne’s great contributions and the countless ways she deeply enriched our workplace and our lives. She will be greatly missed.
